While using any other Tool , you have got to combine it with this tool. , Constructive Approach.
When you will be doing research for your career in animation, or planning the animation scene, or giving feedback or anything.
Your approach must be Constructive.
Whenever you are communicating you must be come from that point of being Constructive after all we all are artists , we are in creative field.
Instead of saying , ” It didn’t help me at all ” or ” I don’t think it’s going to work”
Being Constructive would be ” I did try it , I think I may have missed something , because it’s not working the way it should have or it supposed to be , would you like to see this”
I know most of us are constructive in approach. We can’t dare to say all , can we ?
So here is small true incidence,
In a discussion forum just after last year’s Oscar got over, a discussion was going on and amazing thing was one awesome animator was there.
And he was telling that the movie he worked on got all the awards it deserves. One person (he /she ) don’t know what was he/she thinking , got like , ” How can you say that , and it’s not right ” and on and on …
The person had no idea , how weird was that ? I mean it was bizarre , I felt really bad.
I then personally messaged to that really cool animator , that I’m sorry that people sometimes have no idea whatsoever, sometimes they just say anything.
So I just want to say that ,
Because of internet and all the things , we have got an amazing platform to learn from genius and creative guys.
And sometimes we take things for granted, it not right at all.
Sometimes we (not all , probably you don’t) lose perspective that to whom we are talking to. We should learn to respect the platform and the person we are communicating with.
Having Constructive Approach in any area going to have millions of rewards.
Use it as tool .
You will always have to be Constructive in questions because you will have Constructive Answers.
And in our animation career , as animator we always get advised to be Constructive in feedback for someone’s work and also , making something better is our job, we learn to take criticism as Constructive thing and use it to improve work.
