Hey guys , in last Article we came up with what We want to Be in Life and Most importantly Why we want precisely and came up with minimum 4 page Emotional Reasons. If you haven’t please do it now , take some time off , go on your favorite place , sit down, close your eyes , listen the most inspirational or favorite music , and write down !
We decided we are going to do anything it takes to achieve our dream (Not harming anyone of course )
Now we have to create a practical way that how can we reach up there where we want to go Quickly and Enjoying the path.
See guys , i believe the smallest and simple things, done consistently make huge difference!!!
For this article , I’m preparing for like almost 2 weeks ,
Thinking
How do i make an article ?
Which will be like a training program or a workshop..
that will help anyone to make best possible decisions for his/her Career in Animation ?
which will include every small details and tools..
which has practical and simple stuff..
And has step by step process to create practical efficient Plan.
Finally i came up with the road map ,organizing every small thing in structured way.
See I always got asked

2. Is this ABC course from xyz institute is Good ?
3. Which is the best school in XYZ city for animation ?
Only Institutes at least i can recommend that if you have ability then

When you are fortunate enough , you learn from Best Coach
They are Best Coaches because
First they see the potential in you ,
they quickly realize your strengths and weakness
Like they will say ,
” see you always have dynamic poses and but you are not staying on them for enough time to get them noticed ,
or see you always create forceful poses but they are not supporting the idea ..
or you are good at acting shots but you struggle when character is moving constantly
or Come on , Push the poses , Push the poses “
So the best coaches push you beyond comfort zone, they figure out the best assignments for you so that you will handle more and more stuff that you are not better at .
They know the best possible ways so that you will improve, so that you will give your best consistently ..
They know where you are according your skills and where you should be , they know the gap and way to bridge that gap
And i know and i believe that

Best Coach turns your journey which can be of DECADES into year or two!!!
And for Rest of us who cant have these Best Coaches ,we have to do all those things for ourself , we have to be our own coach ,we have to find our weakness , strengths , the skill that need to be improved , the training and so many things !
I always had inspiration from Indian Mythology Characters
Karna and Eklavya .. they were passionate and incredible students , but they were got denied by the Best Coach and they didn’t have any way
for Quality Education .. Still they made their way on their own , Imagining their coaches in their minds ,imagining secret assignments from virtual coach , yet they became the Most Outstanding Warriors !!
So how to do that ?
THE FIRST AND most important step is
RESEARCH !!! (I’m not saying PhD research)

1. NEED of RESEARCH
Do you know in anyone’s life , almost 70 percent of the times ,
all the Happiness,Health, Wealth,Contribution, Satisfaction, Joy, Grief, Stress, Financial independence, Family problems , and all the emotional and practical aspects of life relates to
one single thing ... and many of us never take enough time to think about this ..
THAT one single thing is “Our Career”
When we choose the Career , that one decision shapes almost our NEXT 60 or more years . .. Even After our death , we will be known for our profession.
And guys we shouldn’t be leaving this decision to chance or someone else , we have got to make this for ourselves.
If you are really early stages , we don’t take this thing as that seriously , we are studying , pursuing all of our interests …
I was watching the TV show where Mr. Warren Buffet and Mr. Bill Gates were interviewed by the students , each student had a chance to ask one question ..
There were awesome questions , and i was fascinated by the answerers , i was extremely close to the TV , (one question was How much money you have in your pocket
right now ? 😉 )
Anyway one question was What’s the advice you will want to give to youngsters for their career ?
Warren Buffet said ,” I was really fortunate that in the really early years i Realized what exactly i wanted to do in my life.. Find out what you want to do in your life ? “
These may not be the exact words but the Essence is the same
I want to say we all have many interests and its good to have them they make us feel happy , but we have to choose one career and dedicate or invest as much as time for the skill set of our career, because you know what all the best people at a point they think they should have started learning Animation really early because there is so much to learn and so much to improve .. When we are at the top , we always know its not the top there’s another level and we keep expanding ..that’s human nature ..
And if in the end if we know we are going to regret that we should have given even more time, why to invest it now in some another interest…
May be you are doing Engineering and Animation together , or Blogging and Animation ,or any two different careers and you have to be OUTSTANDING at both
There’s going to be huge struggle at one point.
Hey if you want to be general , i mean doing all the things at certain level , that’s fine ..
But if you have to be the BEST in one area , you must have to put all your focus , concentration, time , efforts , everything for that one single thing!
I was listening to the Andreas Deja ,once he was with the Legend Ollie Johnston who was in his eighties , watching Cinderella movie.
Andreas said there are scene we watch for great reference …
Ollie was telling him that he still is not satisfied with the performance , what could have been better or fixed !!!
See there is always another level … 🙂
I’m telling you really simple thing see if you daily invest just 1 hour on something else .
At the end of the year you could have invested pure 365 hours for Animation !!!
Think of the decade ??
And believe me if you are early in the beginning of learning curve you want those 365 hours for animation and animation only !!
Think of Time as capital , where to invest smartly is the skill .
(I have concept that we have Three ways to spend the time
1. Investing the time
2. Waste the time
3. Killing the time , but that’s another article )
Living in the Moment is awesome , but only when you know daily , hourly you are working on your skills and creating things that will finally lead to the ultimate dream.
Successful people know where they are heading what’s their dream and every moment they are working (playing ) for their dream and Enjoying each and every moment , they live in the moment too . .
I remember the true story of incredibly happy and successful person ( may be it was Newton ,i don’t remember the name ) ,
Someone asked him , what do you do on weekends ??
He said ,”what do you mean ?”
” I mean , what do you when taking break from Work or when you are not working ”
He smiled , ” Do you think , I’m working ??? Oh no no no , I have taken break from everything else and enjoying this fun ”
There’s nothing that we have to do it , we choose to do it !
We generally think a lot for deciding where we should go Burger King or Smoking Joe’s or which movie we should go , which clothes we should buy ?
But when we come to career question – we don’t take enough time ,that we must take ..
After all its the question of entire life !!
or we want quick fix , someone to come and tell us ..
See going with flow , doing what others doing is death raddle , I’m not saying don’t follow the crowd , I’m saying follow your heart and study , what are the skills and beliefs you are going to improve , what are the beneficial things . ..
We all don’t want to regret that our life could have been better than this stress and frustrations.
or
Sometimes we know we are doing good , and its good way for living but just don’t feel Satisfaction , that sense of knowing that we should be doing something , what the hell I’m doing here , i mean I’m good here but i just don’t feel internal peace and a feeling of doing something more ..mom-dad are happy, everyone is happy but internally something inside eats …
Choosing Career is really huge decision and before even starting that knowing as much as facts the skills , beliefs , benefits , future , emotional aspects, technical aspects ,opportunities, challenges knowing as much as before hand always going to help you.
to Enjoy and Progress speedily towards the dream ..
See knowing all these at the start of career, you can start preparing for each skill slowly easily ..
E.g
When you are working on movie shot, knowing that if i would have studied people around me , their expression and gestures , i could have less cliché’ and most original acting options .. (specially knowing that you had enough time may be 10 minutes daily in past but you wasted for useless things )
And this skill wont come in one day , seeing people around and noting interesting things about them when they get excited , bored , sad ..
Its just simple thing but it would take significant time and consistent progress
And no skill comes in one day , but there are really small things that have to be done consistently !
Not 100 complicated things ..
Or learning after a nightmare that – PLANNING is most important thing , knowing this single thing even before start going to save so many precious hours of your life ..
Some of us get time for Research but most of the times we don’t know what to search for.
Mostly we See the Future Opportunities , Salary , Education Place ,Fees, softwares needed to learn and that’s it and we leave it rest on the School or course and go through process.
But if we have to produce awesome results quickly we need to know something more than that we need to Study what makes best animators , best modelers,best riggers, or whatever the area you choose to do career in ..
Because if we cant have Best Coaches ,we need to be our Coach, hunting the excellence picking up best things as fast as possible.
